About me
I’m Katerina Mumzhynska, a Ukraine-based commercial pets and people photographer with more than 15 years of international expertise in pet photography. Dogs and cats are my joy, and constant source of inspiration. They are muses, friends and family members as far as I am also a professional handler, and a breeder at my own Beagle kennel.
I spend a lot of time traveling and developing new creative photography projects. I am extremely passionate about my work and have had the opportunity to work with many brand names including Nestlé Purina, G-Point, COLLAR Company, WAUDOG, Savory, Home Food, Wow Grooming, and many more.
Where I work
I’m a big traveler so i can coming in any place. I like new pleases, locations, people — this give me inspiration and joy. I’m already visited 27 countries and continue. So lets discuses where will be our next photosession:

My experience
My work was featured in various global exhibitions and magazines (such as Dog Review, Pet Business, Groom Service, ZooDroog). I also won several awards and was a finalist in big international photography contests like 35AWARDS, DPA (Dog Photography Avards) and etc. Expert in color grading, post production, compositing. Successfully work simultaneously on both long-term and short-term projects.

What photosession can I do?
In studio
I have 15 years expiriens shooting in the studio. I really good know light so can make any photo in studio what you can show me, or manage best and creative light for you photosession my self.
Open air
We can make your best photo in any place. Show pets in natural area in motion or lifestyle
On Location
Sometime best place is location. I will manage all. Find (if you dont have), light and shooting in best way
Pets and people
Im not only pet photographer. Im really good make a photo and postproduction for people also.
Awards
I like and never afraid of competition. Sometimes I take part in photography contests and won several awards and was a finalist in big international photography contests like 35AWARDS, DPA (Dog Photography Avards) and etc. Became the “Best pet photographer 2021” (35AWARDS)

People work with people so I think i need to say more about my self as a personality.
Professional beagle breeder
With breed already 15 years. I have beagles from around the world and my dogs live in around the world. I know about breeding and life of breeders from inside/ I know what breeders need, what problems they have and how to solve it. This knowledge a help me a lot in my photo work- when i need to make photo for audience who are breeders.
Professional hendler
Many years im work as hendler. So know all about dog shows, how prepare dogs, grooming, about cosmetics for dogs and how to use it, travel, communication with dogs, dog psychology. How show them from best side. And what need to do for this.
Judge
For to be a good breeder- need to be a judge in breed what breeding you do. Need really good very good understanding of the anatomy, physiology of dogs. Understand how they should be folded. Know the standard of the breed. See balance and harmony. For good quality photo- this all also important.
Teacher
Many years I’m study people about photography. This also study me to better understand psychology, how work in team and understand people and in the same time give knowledge what they can use in there photography way.
